About Michael

Michael Galvan is an Austin based actor who has swiftly carved his own path into the acting community. He has been acting in Austin, Tx for the past 7 years and cherishes every moment while on-stage, in front of the camera or being in the booth doing voice work. Most recently you can see Michael as the face of the 2022 Austin Community College commercials. Some of Michael’s most recent Theatre credits include Clyde's (Ground Floor Theatre - 2024), Una Noche Buena (Zach Theater - 2023), Sanctuary City (Ground Floor Theater - 2023) and Anna In the Tropics (Ground Floor Theatre - 2022). Some of Michael’s other passions include gaming, watching anime and playing guitar. But the one thing that he finds he cannot live without is acting. Michael’s love for acting comes from watching many movies as a child. As he grew, he came to realize the impact that this art form can have on the world. Theater is not just a source for entertainment, but a space for others to see life in different shades. To learn empathy, to express yourself, especially during these current times. Michael’s goal is to bring this same realization to others by performing works that reflect the values of himself and others like him.
